I’ve always been drawn to helping others, which led me to work in the emergency room, specifically in psychiatric care. In that fast-paced, high-stakes environment, I witnessed firsthand how overwhelming life’s challenges can become, and how many people needed more ongoing support than they could access in a hospital setting.
That experience shaped my mission: to create a space where people feel supported, empowered, and equipped with tools to move forward, not just survive the moment.
Through my own journey, I discovered that I plan, focus, and grow best when I’m doing things I love, whether it’s hiking outdoors, spending time with my dogs, or creating new projects. I realized that growth doesn’t just happen in a chair across from someone—it happens in movement, in connection, and in doing.
That’s the foundation of my coaching style: evidence-based strategies blended with real-life activities that help people feel more present, more capable, and more connected.
My pack of dogs has been my greatest set of teachers. They’ve shown me the power of consistency, patience, and unconditional love. Through training them, I’ve learned as much about myself as I have about them—and I want to share that process with others.
At Unleashed Peaks, dogs aren’t just companions; they’re partners in the coaching process. Whether it’s through a structured Walk & Train, a mindful hike, or simply their presence, they help create opportunities for growth and connection that you won’t find anywhere else.
Amanda is certified in mental health and wellness coaching, Adult ADHD Coaching, trauma-informed coaching, mindfulness, inner child healing, advanced transformational life coaching, and CBT. But more importantly, she knows that the fields of coaching, wellness, and dog behavior are always evolving. That’s why ongoing education is built into the heart of Unleashed Peaks.
And here’s the honest part: we don’t do everything.
Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. If something comes up that’s outside of our scope, we’ll help connect you with licensed professionals or other resources. Our goal is to support your climb—not pretend the mountain is smaller than it is.
